Coming Out of Stealth

Announcing our $5M pre-seed, and why manufacturing capacity is the constraint that matters.

Furientis team preparing a rocket for a test launch

Today we’re coming out of stealth and announcing a $5 million pre-seed round led by Silent Ventures, with participation from Bessemer Venture Partners, SV Angel, and repeat founders from Anduril, Erebor, and Armada.

We started Furientis in 2025 on a simple premise: the United States cannot defend itself with munitions it cannot build fast enough.

The math doesn’t work

In 2024, U.S. Navy ships fired more than 200 interceptor missiles defending against attacks in the Red Sea, more than the country produces in a year. We are spending millions per shot to stop threats that cost thousands, and drawing down inventory faster than the industrial base can replace it.

The shortage is not a design problem. It is a manufacturing problem, and it needs a manufacturing answer.

What we’re building

Furientis builds the seeker, the motor, and the airframe itself. Manufacturability is designed into each system from the first part: commercial-grade materials where they hold up, a proprietary solid rocket motor formulated for pouring, and multimodal seekers built from commercial off-the-shelf electronics that get their precision from software rather than custom sensors.

We are flight-testing ship-based interceptors today, built for volume rather than for a limited annual delivery run.

Where we are

We hold partnerships with the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Army, and we were recently named one of five finalists in the Tactical Missile Innovation Challenge alongside Kratos and Anduril.

What’s next

We are hiring across Optics, RF, Mechanical, Flight Software, and GNC. If you build things that fly, we would like to hear from you.
